Eligibility Requirements for Hospitality Internships
For Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Management Roles:
- Age: 18-45
- Education: Completed a full-time hospitality degree (minimum diploma level)
- English: Intermediate to Advanced
- Experience: At least 6 months of full-time (or 12 months part-time) work experience in hospitality
- Studies/Experience: Minimum 12 months of study or 12 months of experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor within the last 24 months.
For Food Production (Culinary) Roles:
- Age: 18-45
- Education: Completed a full-time Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts degree (minimum diploma level)
- English: Intermediate to Advanced
- Experience: At least 6 months of full-time (or 12 months part-time) experience in food production or culinary
- Studies/Experience: Minimum 12 months of work and/or study related to food production within the last 24 months.
Internship Details
- Paid Internship: Minimum AU$23 per hour
- Duration: 6, 9, or 12 months
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Location: Across Australia (flexibility required)
- Lead Time: 6-8 months

- Visa Fee: AU$405
- Insurance Fee: AU$20 per week
